MUSIC MINISTRY

The Bible explains that every good and perfect gift comes from God (James 1:17).  Music is one of the good gifts.  God has given both man and angels the gift of music-making (Genesis 4:21; Job 38:7). The purpose of music and singing is to rejoice in and worship the Lord (Psalm 95:1-2).

 

We are a few called-out believers discovering our call to serve through our gifts. This begins with a desire to be used by God to impact the local church and the world around us.  

 

We sing old and modern hymns, contemporary songs, choruses that are doctrinally sound and based on God’s Word. 

 

Our aim is to serve God with all our heart, mind, body and soul through our gifts; lead people to see God’s majestic love, mercy, forgiveness & a hope to see Christ in the clouds of heaven; and to facilitate the church leaders to conduct the church service in a holistic way

 

The music team consists of approximately thirty members of all age groups, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds who have the heart to serve God through their skills of playing musical instruments, singing, sound engineering, and technology (PowerPoint presentations). The team meets once every three months in order to review our practices, plan for future and share best practices and new songs.  We have recently commenced weekly prayer meetings for the team members to pray for and encourage one another.​
